These are the baseline requirements every submission must meet. Missing one of them means the article comes back to you.
Every submission must be at least 1,200 words. In-depth guides and research pieces (2,000–3,500 words) are preferred because they have room to explain a real problem properly.
Content must be original and never published anywhere else, including your own blog, Medium, LinkedIn articles, or third-party sites. Duplicate content is returned to the author.
We want genuine professional experience, not generated text. Articles that read as AI-generated are returned. Tell us what you have actually seen work in the field.
Every article must include specific, implementable takeaways. Pure theory or surface-level overviews are not a fit. Readers should finish knowing exactly what to do next.
We do not sell links and we do not publish articles written to build them. Relevant references are welcome at editorial discretion; promotional landing pages, affiliate links, and compensated links are not.
Articles should include at least 2–3 relevant screenshots, diagrams, or images. Infographics and data visualizations help longer pieces stay readable.
If any of the following apply, the submission is returned without editorial review:
We keep a focused editorial scope so our readers get what they came for. Proposals within these areas are the strongest fit.
Threat actor profiles, vulnerability analysis, incident response, SIEM strategies, dark web monitoring
Cloud migration, zero trust architecture, network segmentation, backup strategies, disaster recovery
FinCEN guidance, SAR filing, risk assessment models, examiner prep, crypto compliance
Payment processing security, PSD3 compliance, fraud prevention, open banking security
Property management software, resident portal security, HOA cybersecurity, smart community tech
GDPR, CCPA, HIPAA, data residency, privacy-by-design frameworks
MSP evaluation, IT budgeting, vendor management, security awareness training
Topics outside this list may still be considered if they directly serve our business technology audience. When in doubt, propose it, we will tell you if it fits.
Every submission is assessed against these six dimensions. There is no score to game, the question is whether the article helps a business owner make a better technology decision.
Does it help a business owner or IT decision-maker make a better technology decision?
Does the author show real-world knowledge from doing the work, not just reading about it?
Is this genuinely new information, or a fresh, well-argued take on a known problem?
Can readers implement the guidance immediately in a real environment?
Grammar, structure, readability, and professional tone.
Logical headings, short paragraphs, and scannable sections.
Four steps, from topic proposal to published article.
Introduce yourself, explain your expertise, and describe the practical value the article would provide. No full article is needed at this stage.
We review the subject, its relevance to our audience, and the contributor’s qualifications before asking for a full draft.
Approved contributors submit an original article for editorial review and fact-checking.
Accepted articles are published with author attribution and a short professional biography.
Contributing is free. We do not sell spots in the publication, and nothing here buys a link, a ranking, or a guaranteed article.
Contributing is free. We do not sell spots in the publication and there is no paid tier that moves an article ahead of the queue.
Publication does not guarantee backlinks, rankings, traffic, or commercial exposure. If links are the goal, this program is not the right fit.
Articles created primarily to promote a product, service, or website are not published, whether or not money changes hands.
Clear terms that protect both the author and the publication.
You retain copyright to your work. After publication you may republish it on your own platforms with a canonical link back to the original, just let us know first.
We may edit for clarity, grammar, structure, formatting, and factual accuracy. Substantive changes are discussed with the author before publication.
Minor factual corrections can be requested at any time. Substantial rewrites are reviewed as new work. We may update or retire articles that become outdated.
Published articles carry the author’s name, title, company, and a short professional biography, so readers know who is speaking.

Send us a topic proposal. Introduce yourself, explain your expertise, and describe the value the article would give a business reader, that is all step one requires.
